The IBS-DBM20A DC to DC in car charger can be used as a standalone product or in combination
with our IBS-DBS dual battery management system.
Some of the key features of the DBM20A are:
-Works with all battery types (Wet Acid, AGM and Li-Ion batteries)
-Multiple charging levels to suit Wet Acid, AGM and Li-Ion batteries, from 14 volts to 15.4 volts.
-Perfect for use in vehicles with “smart alternators” to provide forced charging of the auxiliary battery
-Utilizes multiple stages of charging (bulk, absorption, equalize and float)
-Ideal for use in charging trailer or caravan batteries, especially on long runs to resist voltage drops
-When used in combination with the IBS-DBS dual battery management system you get massive bulk
charging of your auxiliary battery (wet acid, AGM, Li-Ion) to 80% charge and then the DBM20A takes
over and finalizes the charge with the specified voltage to suit the batteries requirements.
-The IBS DBM20A can be installed with the optional link button and relay to manually connect both
battery together for higher amperage needs or self-jumpstarting a dead starting battery.
-Can be used with 24 volt charging system to charge 12 volt auxiliary batteries.
