Scrublade Wiper- 12"

I've always been on the quest for the perfect windshield wiper. This all started because of my Dad. He never was one to spend money needlessly, so when the windshield wipers on our vehicles needed replacing, he would keep using them claiming he could see fine. I couldn't understand why he wanted to keep using wipers that smeared, chattered, skipped and sometimes made the vision worse than not using them at all. I swore that when I got my own car, I would always replace wipers as needed. Well, that was nearly 35 years ago and windshield wipers really haven't gotten that much better at cleaning the smears and bugs off of your windshield. I always thought there had to be something better! I tried envisioning something I could invent that would work, but nothing feasible was in the cards.



Then nearly two years ago I found Scrublades. These twin blade wipers have a scrubber surface on the leading edge of the outer blades. During the wiper stroke, the outer blade "scrubs" the windshield and the second blade squeegee's it clean. Then on the reverse stroke the exact same thing happens. It was so simple, I couldn't believe someone else hadn't thought of this yet! And in their functional brillance, the scrubber blade leaves a micro bead layer of water behind for the squeegee blade to wipe clean. This lessens the friction and avoids chattering.



I tested these blades for over a year on our company vehicles. It's the only wiper blade I've found to work in the summer to clean off bugs, splatters, etc. Everyone thinks of windshield wipers needing to work when it rains. By using your windshield wiper fluid, you can have a nearly spot free windshield all year round. Here is my favorite and most important feature of the Scrublades. It won't remove every spec of debris from your windshield, but what it does remove is the annoying white smear that ends up on either side of the bug splatter. Even after removing the bug splatter, regular windshield wipers leave a white smear that creates a glare from other headlights or in the sun. This is irritating, fatiguing and dangerous. Scrublades eliminate this nearly 100%!



As an added benefit, the Scrublades are the best flat glass wiper I have found. There is very little selection for 11" and 12" wiper applications. Jeeps, Land Cruisers, H1 Hummers, VW Bugs, Samurai's, etc have had to put up with the worst wipers made (assuming you could even find them at the auto parts store). Scrublades are superior to anything else I have ever tried!
